Lezlie
Lezlie comes to Mambo Productions from Edmonton where she began formal dance training at the age of 3. Although primarily trained in classical ballet, Lezlie studied musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, character, jazz, and hip hop over a span of 20 years. With a love for ballet above all else, Lezlie began dancing on pointe at the age of 12 and dedicated herself to the syllabus of Enrico Cecchetti (1850-1928).
She also spent several years teaching ballet to children. Her accomplishments include numerous Cecchetti examinations, scholarships from the Alberta Dance Festival, and Senior Dancer of the Year in 2001 at Lecky School of Dancing. Her journey into the world of Salsa began with several years of social dancing before getting into it more seriously in late 2007 and joining the Mambo Productions professional team.
